JUXT’s software development experts were selected to complement the inhouse engineering team, to build the award-winning, publicly accessible Structured Notes platform for a major Tier 1 investment bank.
Entirely data-driven, the platform can rapidly onboard new Structured Products with zero code changes. The user-interface automatically adapts to the shape of the data required for each individual product.
The platform supports calendar deals, bespoke pricing, booking, and full post trade analysis, including for products booked outside of the platform. It provides comprehensive language localization, with an interface for conforming all fields and menu items to regional & desk-specific standards.
The platform has won industry awards for over 5 consecutive years, including 'Best Structured Product Technological Solution', and Bankers Investment Banking Award.
Strategic Risk Platform
JUXT have partnered with a Tier 1 investment bank to build an award-winning cross-asset strategic risk platform.
Over a multi-year period, the team have retired legacy risk platforms, decreased costs and increased the speed of delivery, giving the client an edge over the competition.
JUXT uses an agile, iterative and test-driven approach to maintain quality, reliability, adaptability, and continuous delivery.
The platform processes millions of risk calculations per day, combining raw risk data from the client’s inhouse quant libraries with market data to provide the latest risk data to traders, risk managers and regulators.
Post Trade Management
JUXT are building a post-trade capture and management platform for equity derivatives at a Tier 1 investment bank. Scalability and modularization is achieved with a container-based Microservices architecture, allowing effortless transition to cloud orchestration and deployment.
Our engineers are delivering an event-driven architecture, using Apache Kafka for log-based messaging between distributed systems.
This project has a strong test-driven design, ensuring consistency of behavior with existing platforms.
Cloud Migration Blueprints
JUXT is accelerating the adoption of Cloud Native technologies at a Tier 1 investment bank, including Kubernetes with Openshift and Amazon EKS, distributed data transformations with Apache Flink, and performant inter-system communication with gRPC.
These are made available as containerized "blueprints" which fully conform to company-wide best practices and are pre-configured for continuous integration and deployment.
Over the past two years an engineering team from JUXT have been building a high-performance commodity trading application, with fast exchange feeds and instant sharing of internal data across teams.
The application is highly dynamic, pushing high volumes of data to clients with a degree of optimization and performance rarely seen in browser-based applications.
The system offers continuous sharing of data between active users, so the application is always live and synchronized.
Based on its success, JUXT have begun work on a project relating to Historical Forward Curves. This is a graphically-intensive application showing a wide range of forward curves for comparison.
